2024 Giro d'Italia Jersey Classification Standings

General Classification

The General Classification (GC) is the most prestigious classification in the Giro d'Italia. It is awarded to the rider with the lowest cumulative time over all of the stages. The leader of the GC wears the pink jersey.

Points Classification

The Points Classification is awarded to the rider who accumulates the most points in stage finishes. Points are awarded for the top finishers in each stage, with the winner receiving 25 points and the second-place finisher receiving 20 points.

King of the Mountains Classification

The King of the Mountains Classification is awarded to the rider who accumulates the most points by summiting the most challenging climbs in the race. Points are awarded for the top finishers on each climb, with the winner receiving 20 points and the second-place finisher receiving 15 points.

Youth Classification

The Youth Classification is awarded to the best-placed rider under the age of 25 in the General Classification. The leader of the Youth Classification wears the white jersey.

Team Classification

The Team Classification is awarded to the team with the lowest cumulative time over all of the stages. The riders on the winning team wear blue jerseys.
