The 2023 WNBA Draft was held on April 10, 2023, and saw 36 players selected by 12 teams. The Las Vegas Aces had the first overall pick and selected Aaliyah Boston from South Carolina. The Indiana Fever had the second overall pick and selected Diamond Miller from Louisville. The Dallas Wings had the third overall pick and selected Maddy Siegrist from Villanova. The New York Liberty had the fourth overall pick and selected Stephanie Soares from Maryland.

WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert was excited about the upcoming season and the talent that was added to the league through the draft.
